SANTA’s COMING TO TOWN

 

 

Over the fortnight before Christmas, Basildon Round Table take to the streets with Santa and his sleigh, playing Christmas music and waving to the children!

 

Our members also knock on doors and ask for a kind donation towards our work in the local community. As a registered charity with no overheads (no wages or bills to pay and our time given totally free of charge) we are able to use every single penny donated for those in need.

 

So if you see Santa out and about, give him a wave, and please give generously!

Parades start from approx 6.30pm and usually take about 2 hours for the full route.

 

 

Please note that while we make every effort to complete all of our scheduled parade routes, it is not always possible. The weather is beyond our control, and we depend upon the ongoing support of our volunteers and their families, who give up their evenings for the parades. We apologise in advance for any disappointment that may be caused in the event of any cancellation or curtailment.
